TrueClot® Gunshot Wound Task Trainer with Bone

Task trainers are designed to simulate wound packing and demonstrate the use of advanced hemostatic gauzes with TrueClot® Clotting Blood Simulant. The simulated large caliber gunshot wound can be packed with Simulated Hemostatic Gauze while flowing TrueClot® Blood Simulant is pumped into the wound using the attached 1 liter squeeze bottle. Realistic simulated blood clots form on the gauze and flow from the wound when the gauze and blood simulant come in contact. The trainer can be packed with a full 12 ft. of gauze and external pressure can be applied to help slow blood flow, just as with real wound packing.

This Task Trainer is similar to the Laceration/Stab Wound trainer but includes a hard plastic simulated bone inside the wound and a larger wound bed. The bone insert has a simulated fracture/defect and can be easily removed for cleaning. Teach your trainees to "pack to the bone."
