The Black Diamond® Grappling Hook has greater clearance than the Cliffhanger and is designed to be used when hooking into deeper objects. This highly versatile, slightly over-sized, for hook works on larger than average edges and flakes. It is remarkably stable, even on small edges - due to its wide bipod base. This hook is great for ground-up ascents and for big wall climbers.
